TSMC‘s us plant will be stationed in Q1 next year to lock n5p and N4 processes

    It is reported that although the arrival time of TSMC‘s factory equipment in the United States has been announced recently due to labor shortage and cost problems, and it is determined that it will be postponed from the fourth quarter of this year to the first
quarter of next year, at present, there is no delay in terms of the mass production time of the main processes.

   

    The industry pointed out that the mass production of TSMC N5 process is nearly two years. The performance of n5p process is 5% higher and the power consumption is 10% lower than that of N5 process, while N4 is another upgraded version of N5 to further improve the performance, power consumption and density. The introduction of these two processes by American factories can better meet the needs of customers.
