ME4058

    ME4058 is a lithium battery charging control chip with trickle, constant current, constant voltage charging modes, which can charge a single (4.2V/4.35V), two (8.4V/8.7V) lithium battery or three (12.6V/13.05V) lithium battery quickly and efficiently. The ME4058 has a wide input power range, operates at a switching frequency of 450KHz, and adopts a current mode PWM step-down switching structure, providing a small, simple and efficient solution for fast charging of lithium batteries.
    The ME4058 uses the external Sense resistor to set the charging current, and the current accuracy is within ±10%. Internally, a divider resistor and precise reference voltage set the floating charge voltage of each battery at 4.2V/4.35V (single section), 8.4V or 8.7V (double section), 12.6V or 13.05V (three section) with an accuracy of up to ±1%. Internal timer to set trickle charging time and current mode charging time. At the end of charging, if the battery voltage drops to about 3.5% lower than the floating charge, the controller automatically recharges the battery. When the input power is removed, the chip automatically enters sleep mode. The chip has the function of real-time detection of battery temperature and self-recovery.
