Overview of AXS4056:
AXS4056 is a linear charging management chip for single lithium-ion batteries with a charging current of up to 1000mA, which adopts a constant current/constant voltage charging mode.
AXS4056 is a linear charging management chip for single lithium-ion batteries with a charging current of up to 1000mA, which adopts a constant current/constant voltage charging mode.
The AXS4056 adopts an internal PMOSFET architecture, coupled with an anti backcharging circuit, which eliminates the need for external detection resistors and isolation diodes. Thermal feedback can automatically adjust the charging current to limit chip temperature during high-power operation or high ambient temperature conditions. The fully charged voltage is fixed at 4.2V. The charging current can be set through an external resistor connected to the PROG pin, with a maximum of 1000mA.
When the charging current drops to 1/10 of the set value after reaching the final float charging voltage, the AXS4056 will automatically terminate the charging cycle. When the input voltage is removed, the AXS4056 automatically enters a low current state, and the battery leakage current is below 1uA.
Other features of AXS4056 include current temperature detection, CE enable input control, undervoltage lockout, automatic recharging, and two status pins for indicating the end of charging and input voltage connection.
