XYT6982

    The XYT6982 is a highly integrated synchronous boost charger for two Li-ion batteries in series (up to 1.5A in QFN and 2A in ESSOP10). For different portable applications, the charging current can be programmed using external resistors.
    XYT6982 has four charging processes: short circuit (SC), trickle (TC), constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) : Short circuit (SC) can charge 0V batteries; Trickle charging (TC) A battery that can be fully discharged by trickle charging; Constant current charging (CC) can quickly fill the battery; Constant voltage charging (CV) ensures a safe full battery.
    The charging cutoff voltage of the XYT6982 can be adjusted by an external resistor, and the charging current can also be set by an external resistor. When the charging current drops to 1/10 of the set value, the XYT6982 will automatically end the charging process, continuously detect the battery voltage, and automatically recharge when it drops to a certain threshold. When the input voltage (USB source or AC adapter) is removed, the battery leakage is 25uA.
     The XYT6982 integrates charging and full tips, as well as exception indications. Powerful protection features include input overvoltage protection (OVP), battery OVP, battery short circuit protection, thermal shutdown, battery temperature monitor, and configurable timer to prevent prolonged charging of dead batteries.

    NOTE:
        升压输出引脚 BD。10μF 稳压陶瓷电容需尽量靠近芯片,并且从 BD 到 GND 的回路尽量短。
        NTC 电阻一般位于电池内部,图中为方便展示,虚线框内为电池包。NTC 典型应用中需使用 B 值为 3380K 的 10K 阻值的 NTC 电阻与 R2(3K)电阻器串联再与 R1(16K)电阻器串联接于 VDD 引脚,这种搭配可保证电池在 0℃~60℃区间正常充电。如使用其他搭配,请参照第八页 NTC 功能解释中的给出的各温度阈值的 NTC 电压进行设计或可咨询 FAE。
        对底部 ePad GND 引脚,应使用较大覆铜区域连接到 PCB 地平面,这有助于最大限度的减小 PCB 传导损耗和热应力,防止因芯片温度过高导致的充电电流下降。
        LED 指示灯使用时需接限流电阻到 VDD,推荐 3K。
