Non microcomputer volume control mode
Potentiometer control: usually connected in series before the power amplifier, directly in the signal circuit, using the voltage divider function of the potentiometer to achieve the purpose of increasing and reducing the volume. Each channel requires a potentiometer.
DC VOLUME: Adjust the volume by changing the voltage at the VOLUME end through a variable resistor (usually a potentiometer).
VDD: Supply voltage of IC (e.g.+5V)
Digital Volume: Usually, a touch switch (also known as a microswitch) is used to connect to ground (0V) and change the PIN terminal level to adjust the volume.
UP: Volume increases according to the specified value, Down: Volume decreases according to the specified value, RST: Return to the default volume value when turned on.
Micro computer volume control mode
Usually, the microcontroller transmits data to the chip through the control bus, and the volume is changed through internal data processing within the chip. Common control buses include IIC, SPI, etc. For example, IIC only has 2 cables: data cable SDA and clock cable SCL.
