In the process of continuous evolution of automobiles in the direction of electrification and intelligence, the on-board wireless charging base is gradually becoming the standard of many models. This design not only provides a more convenient way for drivers and passengers to charge, but also further promotes the optimization and upgrading of the interior space. With the continuous progress of wireless charging technology, users‘ requirements for vehicle wireless charging schemes are becoming more stringent. Under this trend, the company launched the in-car wireless fast charge scheme based on the NuVolta NU8060Q chip, which can achieve high power fast charge while ensuring the safety of charging.

NuVolta‘s NU8060Q is a wireless transmitter chip with high integration, high efficiency and high precision. The chip supports wide voltage input, the recommended maximum operating voltage is 27V, and the transient voltage can withstand up to 36V. At the time of design, the NU8060Q single chip is compatible with wireless charging receiver (Rx) loads of up to 80W, which can meet the needs of high-power wireless fast charging.
The NU8060Q integrates high efficiency full bridge FETs and 12mΩ Rdson devices, which have good thermal performance in high power applications compared to existing products on the market. Not only that, the chip is also equipped with a variety of important functions required for wireless charging applications, such as full bridge drive, high-precision current detection, Q-value detection function and in-band communication demodulation function.
