It is reported that the 12 inch advanced power semiconductor wafer production line project of China Resources micro is expected to be completed and put into operation next year

    In June this year, China Resources Microelectronics Chongqing Co., Ltd. jointly invested with domestic industry enterprises to build a 12 inch advanced power semiconductor wafer production line project in Xiyong microelectronics park. This production line will mainly produce a new generation of power semiconductor products.

    According to the latest report of Chongqing daily, after the production line is completed and put into operation next year, it is expected to form a wafer production capacity of 30000 wafers per month, so as to drive the domestic power semiconductor manufacturing process in line with the international advanced level and help the industrial upgrading of Chongqing.

    On June 7 this year, China Resources micro released an announcement on foreign investment and related party transactions. China Resources Microelectronics Holding Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Resources Microelectronics, plans to jointly sign the investment agreement of Runxi Microelectronics (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. with national integrated circuit industry investment fund phase II Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Xiyong Microelectronics Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd., and initiate the establishment of Runxi Microelectronics (Chongqing) Co., Ltd (tentative name), with a registered capital of 5 billion yuan, the project company will invest in the construction of a 12 inch power semiconductor wafer production line project, with a planned investment of 7.55 billion yuan.

    Enterprise investigation shows that, Runxi Microelectronics (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. was established on June 24, 2021. Its business scope includes: the company‘s main business license items: import and export of goods, import and export of technology and import and export agency. General items: integrated circuit design, manufacturing and sales of integrated circuit chips and products, science and technology intermediary services, technical services, technology development, technical consulting, technology exchange, technology transfer and technology transfer extension.
