    According to disclosure, in 2023, the added value of China‘s electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 3.4% year-on-year, with a growth rate 1.2 percentage points lower than that of the same period in industry, but 0.7 percentage points higher than that of high-tech manufacturing industry. In December, the added value of electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 9.6% year-on-year.

    Specifically, in 2023, the production of mobile phones reached 1.57 billion units, a year-on-year increase of 6.9%, including 1.14 billion units of smartphones, a year-on-year increase of 1.9%; The production of microcomputer equipment reached 331 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 17.4%; The production of integrated circuits reached 351.4 billion units, a year-on-year increase of 6.9%.

    In terms of exports, the export delivery value of electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size in 2023 decreased by 6.3% year-on-year, which is 2.4 percentage points deeper than the industrial decline in the same period. In December, the export delivery value of electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size decreased by 5.5% year-on-year.

    According to customs statistics, in 2023, China exported 140 million laptops, a year-on-year decrease of 15.1%; Exported 802 million mobile phones, a year-on-year decrease of 2%; Export of 267.8 billion integrated circuits, a year-on-year decrease of 1.8%.
