After announcing the settlement of the Western Manufacturing Base in Nan‘an District, Chongqing in 2021, Delta officially held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Western Manufacturing Base on December 21.
It is reported that the Delta Western Manufacturing Base covers an area of 450 acres, with an initial investment of 1.45 billion yuan, and is a base product.
As Delta‘s first production base located in western China, this base will drive development in areas such as power and cooling systems, intelligent manufacturing, and new energy vehicles. In addition to focusing on energy conservation and carbon reduction, Delta will also establish research and development laboratories.
As a highland for the development of the automotive industry, Delta will leverage Chongqing‘s location and talent advantages to accelerate the construction of its R&D team, with a focus on continuous innovation in areas such as electric vehicles, energy storage, and microgrids.
In addition, according to Delta‘s recent announcement, the combined revenue for November 2023 was NT $33.649 billion, a 3% decrease from the combined revenue of NT $34.675 billion in October and a 5.8% decrease from the combined revenue of NT $35.708 billion in the same period last year. Among them, the manufacturer‘s power supply and components, infrastructure, and automation accounted for 63%, 25%, and 12% of their revenue, respectively.
From January to November 2023, the manufacturer‘s cumulative consolidated revenue was NT $369.53 billion, an increase of 5.6% compared to the same period last year‘s cumulative consolidated revenue of NT $3500.21 billion.
