The 2.4G wireless audio module of Yinzida Electronic Technology provides lossless and stable wireless transmission through the use of nRF52832 SoC in transmitters and receivers, utilizing zero delay DSP pipelines
Shenzhen Yinzida Technology, a consumer electronics manufacturer, has launched a 2.4 GHz wireless audio transmission module that can achieve high fidelity wireless audio for microphones, instruments, or audio headphones. This 2.4G wireless audio transmission module consists of transmitting and receiving modules, both of which use Nordic Semiconductor‘s nRF52832 multi protocol SoC. When used for the first time, the modules are paired in a one-to-one mode to ensure that multiple wireless devices can be used simultaneously in any given environment.
Powerful digital signal processing
In operation, the audio signal is connected to the audio input port of the transmission module. After amplification, filtering, and sampling, the nRF52832 SoC converts the audio signal into a digital signal for digital signal processing (DSP). This SoC‘s 64 MHz Arm ® Cortex ® The M4 processor supports typical floating-point and DSP calculations for such high-end wireless applications. The audio data is then transmitted to the receiving module through Nordic SoC‘s 2.4 GHz multi protocol radio relay. In the receiving module, the Arm processor of Nordic SoC decodes the data and then transmits it to a digital/analog converter, thereby completing wireless transmission of audio signals. This high sampling rate (48 kHz) and low latency (less than 5 ms) solution ensures the reproduction of high fidelity audio.
Jia Wenxiang, Chief Development Engineer of Yinzida Electronic Technology, said, "The company has been deeply involved in the field of wireless audio signal transmission for more than 20 years, accumulating a lot of knowledge about generating high-quality audio. These modules help enterprises develop solutions that require high-quality, plug and play digital audio wireless transmission, such as microphones and electric guitars. The biggest advantage of our solution is the audio digital processing ability and lossless and stable wireless transmission."
High end audio applications
The Arm processor of nRF52832 SoC serves as the main microprocessor of the module, responsible for collecting digital audio streams, regulating encoding and decoding algorithms, I2S communication, RF control, and power management. During the development process, this Soc‘s 64 KB RAM and 512 KB flash provide ample and flexible memory options.
Jia Wenxiang continued, "We have been cooperating with Nordic for many years and have chosen to use the nRF52832 SoC for many reasons, including a powerful processor and a high link budget of 2.4 GHz radio. The sensitivity of radio reception ensures more stable wireless transmission signals and generates higher quality audio. In addition, this SoC has lower overall power consumption, providing a significant competitive advantage for developers of battery powered audio solutions."
About Nordic Semiconductor Company
Nordic Semiconductor is a Norwegian fabless semiconductor company that specializes in providing wireless communication technology to support the Internet of Things (IoT). Nordic was founded in 1983 and has over 1300 employees worldwide. Nordic is a member of the ANT+Alliance, Bluetooth Technology Alliance (SIG), Thread Group, Zigbee Alliance, Wi Fi Alliance, and Global Society for Mobile Communications Systems (GSMA). With the help of low-power Bluetooth solutions, Nordic has pioneered ultra-low power wireless communication technology, making us a global market leader. In terms of technical scope, ANT+, Thread, and Zigbee technologies were supplemented, and a compact low-power LTE-M/NB IoT cellular IoT solution was launched in 2018 to expand the penetration rate of the Internet of Things. In 2021, we further added Wi Fi technology to our product portfolio.
We provide users with leading wireless technologies supported by development tools that protect designers from the complexity of RF technology, allowing anyone with ideas to create innovative products based on the IoT platform. Today, our award-winning, high-performance, and easy to design low-power Bluetooth solutions are used by leading brands around the world in various products, including wireless PC peripherals, gaming, sports and fitness, mobile phone accessories, consumer electronics, toys, healthcare, and automation products.
