In the industrial field, controlling low latency and deterministic data transmission is a must-have. A large number of industrial real-time Ethernet protocols face problems such as lack of communication or difficulty in communication, high costs, network fragmentation, and difficulty in OICT fusion. Time sensitive network (TSN) adopts a series of network standards such as IEEE802. Qbv, which changes the difficulty of traditional networks being complex and closed. In the TSN field, domestic units have never formed domestically produced chip products, and related chip products rely on imports. Domestic related products undergo secondary development on the basis of foreign chips.
Based on industrial network chip design, reliability, and precise time synchronization technology, Dongtu Technology has launched the first TSN chip in China, the KD65xx series, after three years of research and development since 2019; Related performance parameters: supporting 32G switching capacity, 12 SGMII (SERDES) interfaces, 2 10G Base-KR/10G Base-R interfaces; Supports TSN series standards such as IEEE802.1Qbv and 802.1AS, with built-in high-performance dual core ARC ® HS48FS CPU; The plug-in capacity is 2GB and the maximum data rate is 1.6G; Can achieve a wide temperature range of -40~105 ℃, with a functional safety level of SIL2 according to IEC61508. At present, the chip has passed the testing of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and other units, and the TSN function meets the series of network standards such as 802.1Qbv.
Based on the above chips, Dongtu Technology has developed products such as switches, terminal devices, clock sources, gateways, controllers, and PLCs with time sensitive network functions; A comprehensive solution for time sensitive networks was constructed, including chips, devices, and systems; The application and promotion in fields such as intelligent manufacturing, rail transit, intelligent vehicles, and electricity.
In 2022, the Time Sensitive Network Key Equipment Laboratory of the Industrial Internet Industry Alliance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was established at Dongtu Technology. The establishment of this laboratory marks the comprehensive acceleration of the research and industrial application of key equipment for time sensitive networks in China. This has important strategic significance for breaking the foreign monopoly of time sensitive network technology and achieving independent innovation of key industrial network technology equipment.
