    At the release stage, the "Integrated Circuit Industry Talent Job Capability Requirements" standard jointly formulated by 26 units, including the China Semiconductor Industry Association Testing Branch, Beijing Huada Jiutian Technology Co., Ltd., Muxi Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Jita Semiconductor Co., Ltd., Huatian Technology Xi‘an Investment Holding Co., Ltd., and Changdian Integrated Circuit (Shaoxing) Co., Ltd., was officially released. Cheng Yu, Director of the Talent Development Department of the Center, Yu Xiekang, Vice Chairman of the China Semiconductor Industry Association, Zhou Yumei, Executive Deputy Secretary General of the China Semiconductor Demonstration Microelectronics Institute Integration Development Alliance, Zou Xuecheng, Executive Dean of the School of Microelectronics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hu Huiyong, Vice Dean of the School of Microelectronics at Xi‘an University of Electronic Science and Technology, and Song Chulin, Deputy General Manager and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Beijing Huada Jiutian Technology Co., Ltd, Eight expert leaders, including Cai Zhengdong, General Manager of Xiangxin Integrated Circuit (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Wu Gang, Founder and Chairman of Hangzhou Accelerator Technology Co., Ltd., attended the release ceremony.

    The integrated circuit industry is an important foundation for the digital economy and emerging industries, as well as a strategic, fundamental, and leading industry that supports the development of modern economy and society and ensures national security. With the strong support of national industrial policies, China‘s integrated circuit industry has maintained rapid growth. At the same time, the talent gap is also accelerating, and the quality of talent cultivation urgently needs to be improved. Therefore, the release of standards is of great significance for accelerating the establishment of a talent cultivation system guided by industrial demand and centered on job capabilities.

    The standard closely revolves around the four main directions of integrated circuit design, manufacturing, packaging, and testing, covering 31 specific positions such as digital backend, process integration, packaging research and development, and wafer testing. From the four major competency dimensions of professional knowledge, technical skills, engineering practice, and comprehensive ability, specific competency requirements for different positions in integrated circuits are proposed.
