On July 12, Renesas electronics issued a statement yesterday saying that the chuanjiri factory, which had been temporarily suspended due to lightning hitting the wire and causing an instantaneous voltage drop, had resumed normal production on July 11 as originally expected, and the production capacity had returned to the level before the shutdown.
Reza pointed out that when the instantaneous voltage drop occurred, the semi-finished products (products in process) being produced on the production line of chuanjiri factory were partially destroyed. However, the number of semi-finished products destroyed was less than expected, so the production loss caused by the destruction of semi-finished products and the decline of factory production rate was equivalent to the output of about one week, and the loss was lower than the original expected output of about two weeks.
