On April 27, Taiwan, China IC Design Co., Ltd. held a presentation on the measures for the imperial examination.
Despite the turbulent global political and economic environment, MediaTek CEO Cai Lixing said that MediaTek continued to move towards the goal of 20% revenue growth, 48% to 50% gross profit margin and three-year compound annual growth rate of revenue (CAGR) reaching the middle double-digit percentage (mid tees) this year.
Cai Lixing mentioned that in recent months, the overall global economy has faced challenges such as inflation and geopolitical risks, which will inevitably affect industrial supply and demand. Nevertheless, MediaTek will continue to grow due to its leading product portfolio, technology upgrading and market share expansion of various product lines.
According to the Law Commission, MediaTek‘s consolidated revenue in the first quarter was NT $142.711 billion (the same below), with a quarterly increase of 10.9% and an annual increase of 32.1%, higher than the original estimate of 131.2 billion to 141.5 billion yuan. As for the performance in the second quarter, based on the exchange rate of the US dollar to the Taiwan dollar of 1:28.5, the company expects the consolidated revenue in a single quarter to be between 147 billion yuan and 157 billion yuan, with an annual growth rate of about 17% to 25%.
