    On March 31, Shijiazhuang state owned capital investment and operation group Co., Ltd. completed the investment contract of Zhengding 12 inch characteristic process semiconductor chip project with the strong support of Hebei Industrial investment guidance fund management Co., Ltd. After the completion of the project, it will become the first 12 inch power semiconductor production line in North China, which can produce synergy with downstream automobile industry, photovoltaic industry, new display industry and communication industry, forming a strong industrial chain and high-tech cluster highland.

     According to reports, as the main body of state-owned capital investment and operation in the provincial capital, since its establishment, the state investment group has aimed at the trillion goal, connected with first-class institutions, and fully promoted the revitalization of the provincial capital industry with the power of capital. The project is invested and introduced by SDIC through the city‘s leading industry development fund. Relying on listed enterprises with advanced special Semiconductor R & D technology, the project is mainly engaged in the design and manufacturing of 12 inch semiconductor power devices. Among them, the design link focuses on the design, R & D, packaging and testing of advanced semiconductor power devices such as MOSFET and IGBT, and is committed to becoming a leading supplier of semiconductor power devices and power management in the industry; The manufacturing process focuses on 90nm-180nm mature process projects.

    It is reported that the project is constructed in two phases. The production capacity after the first phase is 30000 pieces / month, and the total production capacity after the second phase is 70000 pieces / month. It is expected that the operating income will exceed 4 billion yuan, more than 2000 new jobs will be created, and the investment in related industries will be more than 80 billion yuan.
