Great Union World Ping Group launches magnetic wireless fast charge solution based on easy shock semiconductor products

    On May 7, 2024, the world‘s leading semiconductor component distributor in the Asia-Pacific market, Daonda Holdings, announced that its unit, ConvenientPower, launched a magnetic wireless fast charge system based on CPS8200 chips.

    With the popularity of mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets, users have an increasing demand for wireless charging with faster charging speed and more convenience. In 2023, the WPC Wireless Charging Alliance officially released the Qi2 protocol, adding MPP Magnetic Power Profile to the new protocol, which can provide strong support for the next generation of wireless charging technology innovation. Based on the Qi2 protocol, the company launched a magnetic wireless fast charge solution based on the easy-impact semiconductor CPS8200 chip.

    CPS8200 is a highly integrated and efficient wireless charging transmitter chip, which is equipped with 32-bit processor, built-in 64KB MTP, 32KB ROM and 16KB SRAM, MTP supports read/write protection, and can be programmed through CC pins and DP/DN data lines. Not only that, the chip support QC2.0 / QC3.0 / PD3.1 / SCP/AFC quick charge, internal integration three half bridge drive, supports step-up or step-down conversion and fixed frequency regulation charge, only need to match the corresponding MOS tube can be realized complete Qi2 wireless charger products.
    In addition, the CPS8200 integrates a DC/DC controller for the broader Qi2 market, which means that it can effectively reduce peripheral costs compared to the industry‘s common solutions. And CPS8200 integration has a rich reference design, can perfectly meet different customization requirements.

    This solution has the characteristics of high energy efficiency, high magnetic absorption, high security and high compatibility, which can meet the wireless charging needs of Apple mobile phone users. In addition to the magnetic charger design, the CPS8200 chip-based mobile power solution has also passed all the pre-scans certified by Qi2, enabling customers to complete the design of thin and customized ids.
