ITECH Edex IT-N2100 Series Solar Array Simulator New Product Launch

Time:2023-08-23 Views:732
The newly launched high-speed solar array simulator IT-N2100 series by Edex in 2023 is widely used in the testing of distributed photovoltaic modules, such as micro inverters and power optimizers. Since then, a simulator can simulate the IV curve of photovoltaic panels within a hundred watts with high speed and precision, as well as cover the testing of component level photovoltaic micro inverters or optimizers with high power and current, which is undoubtedly a great benefit for many industry newcomers.
IT-N2100 series solar array simulation source
The IT-N2100 series solar array simulator is a high-performance DC power supply with fast IV curve changes, used to simulate the IV output characteristics of various solar panels in different environments (temperature, lighting, shadow attenuation, aging degree). High definition large screen, allowing real-time viewing of simulated solar energy dynamic and static IV curves. There are a total of four models in the entire series, divided into 800W and 1500W. Low voltage high current and high voltage low current models can meet the requirements of ground testing and aviation testing, respectively.
When testing micro inverters, it is required that the photovoltaic simulation source has a low noise and high-speed current loop. The IT-N2100 series photovoltaic simulator can have a current loop speed of up to 500kHz and supports 250Hz MPPT speed. Under the condition of high MPPT tracking frequency of the tested object, the output of IT-N2100 still accurately conforms to the preset IV curve.
IT-N2100 comes standard with a solar matrix simulation software that supports synchronous control of 20 channel solar array simulators. Users can use this software to simulate the output characteristics of a single solar panel or array, create or load various complex weather conditions and typical test modes defined by international standards, and generate standardized reports. The IT-N2100 also has many advantages, such as support for infinite series testing (1500V DC to ground withstand voltage), anti reverse protection, ultra-low current noise, and so on.
ITECH has seven years of experience in the design and production of photovoltaic simulation sources, covering various industrial fields such as new energy vehicles, photovoltaics, energy storage, semiconductors, 5G communication, and motors.
