Electric motors are the core of all electronic devices, and their performance often affects the quality and lifespan of electronic devices. Traditional brush motors have high energy consumption and magnetic brushes are prone to generating sparks, which seriously affects operational safety. Therefore, with the continuous innovation of motor technology, various energy-saving applications gradually choose to use DC brushless motors with higher energy efficiency, longer lifespan, and motor drive that can be fine tuned through software to replace traditional motors. Based on this background, Da Lian Da Shi Ping has launched a high-voltage DC brushless motor drive scheme based on the AT32F413 chip of Yateli.

Artery was founded in 2016 and is a chip (MCU) design company dedicated to promoting innovation in 32-bit microcontrollers. It has leading high-end chip research and development technology, a complete silicon intellectual property library, and professional and flexible integration experience. The company adheres to the concept of self research and development, focusing on Arm ® Cortex ®- The development and innovation of M4/M0+32-bit microcontrollers provide efficient, reliable, and competitive products for the industry in a sustainable manner.
The AT32F413, which is the core of this solution, is a ARM equipped satellite under the Yateli brand ® Cortex ®- The high-performance 32-bit MCU with M4 core can achieve a maximum main frequency of 200MHz. The chip is equipped with a single precision floating-point unit (FPU) and a digital signal processor (DSP), paired with a variety of peripherals and flexible clock control mechanisms, which can meet various applications in various fields. In addition, AT32F413 also has a perfect memory design, which can support up to 256KB flash memory (Flash) and 64KB Random-access memory (SRAM), and its flash memory performs zero wait, surpassing the level of the industry‘s peers. In addition, the MCU has rich peripheral and communication resources, allowing users to integrate peripheral switches and communication control when designing motor related applications.

In addition to the core AT32F413 MCU, this scheme also uses the bridge rectifier and current sensor of Vishay, the step-down converter, voltage regulator, comparator and IPM module of Onsemi, the step-down converter and operational amplifier of SGMICRO, the CAN of NXP, and the encoder of MaxLinear. With the help of these products, the solution has achieved motor drive with AC input of 100-240V/100W, which can be applied to various small power household appliances. And thanks to the AT32F413RBT7, the solution also reserves various motor control feedback signal receiving and communication ports on the development board, and independent power supply blocks, making it easier and more versatile for users to use during the development process.
