ADI Appoints Alan Lee as Chief Technology Officer

    Analog Devices, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADI) announced the appointment of Alan Lee as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Alan will be committed to exploring new generation technologies that can disrupt and shape the semiconductor industry and related markets, and actively promote the development of such technologies. Alan will lead the team to work closely with ADI‘s clients, universities, research institutions, and other strategic partners to incubate new technologies, explore ecosystems, and better support the launch of new technologies.

    Alan previously worked at AMD as the Research and Senior Development Director. During his tenure, he led the team in the research and development of innovative hardware, software, artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing technologies, and has achieved multiple innovative and patented results over the past decade. Prior to joining AMD, Alan served as the CEO of a private company, developing innovative technologies for high-frequency trading and quantitative financial analysis. Prior to this, he also worked for Intel and IBM, accumulating rich professional knowledge and experience in the field of large-scale multinational engineering and technology projects.

    As a well-known industry leader, Alan currently serves as both the Chairman of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) CTO Committee and the Chairman of the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) CTO Council. He also served on the board of directors of Semiconductor Research Corporation and the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics of the National Science Foundation (NSF).
    Alan will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer of ADI and replace Dan Leibholz, former Chief Technical Officer of ADI. Dan Leibholz is currently serving as Senior Vice President of ADI‘s Digital Business Unit.
