Xiaopeng automobile: 9578 new cars were delivered in August, with a cumulative delivery of more than 90000

    On September 1, Xiaopeng automobile issued a document saying that in August 2022, Xiaopeng automobile delivered a total of 9578 sets, a year-on-year increase of 33%. Among them, 5745 sets of Xiaopeng P7, 2678 sets of Xiaopeng P5 and 1155 sets of Xiaopeng G3 series were delivered. This year, more than 90000 Xiaopeng cars have been delivered, nearly double that of the same period last year.
    Since August this year, Xiaopeng‘s flagship model G9 has been fully opened for pre-sale, with 22819 orders within 24 hours, far exceeding the level of G3, P7 and P5 in the same period.
    In terms of charging supporting facilities, the first pile of Xiaopeng S4 ultra fast charging was officially launched in Guangzhou in August. So far, Xiaopeng automobile has built 1000 self operated charging stations, including 799 self operated overcharging stations and 201 self operated destination stations, covering all prefecture level administrative regions and municipalities directly under the central government. Xiaopeng automobile said that it planned to build another 2000 self operated ultrafast charging stations by 2025 to provide the best energy replenishment experience for Xiaopeng owners.
    In the previously disclosed semi annual report, Xiaopeng automobile said that the R & D investment in the first half of 2022 was 1.265 billion yuan, and the cumulative R & D investment from 2018 to the end of the second quarter of 2022 exceeded 11 billion yuan.
    "We will accelerate the pace of new product launch and enrich our product matrix within the price range of RMB 150000 to 500000. We plan to launch two competitive models in 2023 to further promote the rapid growth of sales." He Xiaopeng said.
